New FranklinCovey B-school

The FranklinCovey Co — a Salt Lake City (USA)-based human resource training and development corporation — in collaboration with the Bangalore-based Global Academy of Technology (estb. 2000) and Vati Learning Solutions, formally launched the FranklinCovey GAT Management School (FCGMS), Bangalore on April 14. The school is sited in the Global Academy of Technology campus in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore.

FCGMS will offer an autonomous 15-month postgraduate diploma study programme in business management, and will admit its first batch on July 27 this year. According to this new B-school’s spokesperson, the FCGMS curriculum has been designed “with inputs and contributions” from eminent academics and corporate czars such as Jack Welch, Stephen R. Covey, Ram Charan, Jim Collins, Dr. Roger Moser and Dr. Yegneshwar.

“FranklinCovey’s leadership courses have added great value to working professionals around the world, and in turn have been honed through interaction with Fortune 500 companies. Now, students of FCGMS have a chance to benefit from these powerful courses and prepare themselves for challenging corporate careers,” said Rajan Kaicker, executive chairman and director, FranklinCovey South Asia, and director program content of FCGMS, speaking on the occasion.

Admission is open to graduates in engineering/sciences/arts/management with a minimum 50 percent average from a recognised university; minimum work experience of one year and satisfactory CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT scores.
