Now Treamis Residential World School

The Treamis World School, Bangalore (TWS) announced the inauguration of its CBSE and IGSCE (UK) affiliated Treamis Residential World School (TRWS), sited on TWS’ sprawling campus in Electronics City, in suburban Bangalore, on May 28.

A mere stone’s throw from TWS’ central facilities, TRWS’ self-contained purpose-built internationally benchmarked halls of residence offer weekly as well as full-term boarding in separate facilities for boys and girls. “Treamis Residential World School will bring new initiatives and new ideas from around the world to provide an integrated learning environment for children in India. I hope this will help in preparing them to become better global citizens,” said Venkatesh Koravadi, president of the World Schools Foundation, speaking on the occasion.

Promoted in 2007 with a capital investment of Rs.20 crore, TWS-TRWS is a K-12 school which in addition to its own integrated global curriculum offers the curricula of the Delhi-based CBSE and the UK-based Cambridge International Examination board. With the objective of providing balanced, holistic education to its day and residential students, the school offers a wide array of co-curricular and sports activities including lawn and table tennis, carom, basketball, cricket, baseball, volleyball and soccer playing facilities as also a half-Olympic size swimming pool.
