College of Fire Technology’s placement success

This year india inc absorbed all graduates of the College of Fire Technology (CFT), Ahmedabad following campus interviews in May. Thirty-four CFT graduates were absorbed by Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd, and eight by Reliance Petroleum, Jamnagar.

“Our students are given comprehensive training in fire risk management and fire control techniques. Our institute is affiliated to the Institute of Fire Engineers, UK, an international qualifying organisation for fire engineering and fire safety professionals. CFT is also a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), USA, a worldwide leader in providing fire, electrical and life safety to the public since 1896 in collaboration with some of the best learning and training organisations in the world. We are striving hard towards lending our students more credibility and an edge in industry,” says Vikram Bhagat, managing trustee.

According to Bhagat, CFT is the first fire training institution in the country to offer a B.Sc study programme in fire technology. CFT also offers specialised ITI fireman and ITI safety and security courses.
