The Bangalore and Manipal-based Manipal Education & Medical Group (MEMG), a well-known name in higher education and promoter of Manipal University, among other institutions of professional education, announced a joint venture with Tutor Vista Pvt. Ltd, a leading Bangalore-based online tutoring company on December 17. The joint venture, christened Manipal K-12 Education India Pvt. Ltd, will provide end-to-end management services as well as ICT-based school learning solutions and tutorials to existing and new schools, under the brand name Manipal Schools.
Commenting on the new joint venture, Dr. Ranjan Pai, chief executive officer of MEMG said: “We are happy to partner with Tutor Vista through its subsidiary Edurite Technologies. MEMG has been a strategic shareholder of Tutor Vista Pvt. Ltd for the past two years. The joint venture signifies the entry of MEMG into school education.
